Privacy Policy

Franchable Tech LLC ("Franchable," "we," "us") operates franchable.com and related services that provide franchise investment data and connect prospective franchise buyers with financing options, including SBA lenders. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide directly:

  • Prequalification and intake forms: name, email address, phone number, the franchise brand(s) you're interested in, available capital or investment range, approximate credit range, intended timeline, and any other details you choose to submit.
  • Account information: email address and authentication credentials if you create an account.
  • Communications: information you provide when you contact us.

Information collected automatically:

  • Usage and device data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages viewed, referring URLs, and interactions with our site.
  • Cookies and similar technologies: we use cookies, pixels, and browser storage (including localStorage) to operate the site, measure advertising, and understand usage. If you arrive via an online advertisement, we may store the ad click identifier (such as a Google Click ID) in your browser for up to 90 days and associate it with any inquiry you submit.
  • Visitor identification: we use a third-party service (Leadsy.ai) that may attempt to associate your visit with business or professional contact information from its databases, which can include identifying companies or individuals visiting our site.
  • Advertising measurement: we use Google Ads conversion tracking. When you complete an inquiry, we may share certain information you provided (such as a hashed version of your email address) with Google to measure advertising effectiveness ("enhanced conversions"). Google processes this data as described in its own privacy documentation.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To process your prequalification inquiry and assess financing options;
  • To connect you with lenders, lending service providers, and financing partners relevant to your inquiry;
  • To provide franchise data, tools, and account features;
  • To communicate with you about your inquiry, our services, and related offerings;
  • To measure and improve our marketing, including advertising attribution;
  • To operate, secure, and improve our website and services;
  • To comply with legal obligations.

3. How We Share Information

We share personal information with:

  • Lenders and financing partners: if you submit a financing inquiry, we share the information in your inquiry with one or more lenders or lending service providers so they can evaluate and contact you about financing.
  • Service providers: vendors that host our infrastructure and data (including Google Firebase), provide analytics and advertising measurement (including Google), provide visitor identification (Leadsy.ai), and support our communications and operations. These providers process data on our behalf under their own contractual obligations.
  • Legal and safety: when required by law, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and security.
  • Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.

We do not sell your personal information for money. Some sharing for advertising measurement may be considered "sharing" or "targeted advertising" under certain state privacy laws; see Section 7 for your choices.

4. Advertising and Analytics Choices

  • Google: you can opt out of Google's personalized advertising at adssettings.google.com. Information about how Google uses data from sites that use its services is available at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
  • Cookies: most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Note that clearing browser storage removes any stored ad click identifiers.
  • Opt-out preference signals: we honor opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control where required by applicable law.

5. Data Retention

We retain inquiry and account information for as long as needed to provide our services, evaluate and facilitate financing requests, comply with legal and regulatory obligations, and resolve disputes. Advertising click identifiers stored in your browser expire after 90 days.

6. Data Security

We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

7. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your state of residence, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of targeted advertising or certain sharing. To exercise these rights, contact us at info@franchable.com. We will verify your request and respond as required by applicable law. You may also designate an authorized agent to submit requests on your behalf where permitted by law. If we decline a request, you may appeal by replying to our response.

8. Children

Our services are intended for individuals 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Effective date" above reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be posted on this page.
